Boxing champion Mike Tyson is making his Bollywood debut, that too in a Karan Johar film!
The controversial boxer will be seen playing a significant role in upcoming action film 'Liger' starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday, backed by Dharma Productions.
Film critic Taran Adarsh made the announcement with a clip on social media, adding that the former world heavyweight champion, will be seen for the first time on Indian screens. He added, the man who created history, an unbeatable icon and legend Mike Tyson is on board for the prestigious project.

The clip ends with a poster of the film, where fans get a glimpse of Vijay Deverakonda and Mike Tyson.
Karan Johar, who also launched Ananya Panday in Student Of The Year (SOTY 2), announced Tyson’s big debut on his social media. In a post on Twitter, he wrote, "For the first time ever, the king of the ring will be seen on the big screens of Indian cinema! Welcoming @MikeTyson to the #LIGER team!"
Vijay Deverakonda also welcomed Tyson on his social media, with a poster that saw half his face merged with that of Tyson. "We promised you Madness! We are just getting started. For the first time on Indian Screens. Joining our mass spectacle - #LIGER The Baddest Man on the Planet. The God of Boxing. The Legend, the Beast, the Greatest of all Time!," he wrote.
Mike Tyson officially retired from the boxing ring in 2005 and has previously appeared in Hollywood movies such as ‘Pharaoh’s War’ and ‘The Hangover’.
