A Mumbai court has remanded actor Armaan Kohli to 14-day judicial custody in connection with an alleged drug case, which is part of a larger investigation by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) into the Bollywood-drugs nexus.
The former 'Bigg Boss' contestant was arrested, after a small amount of cocaine was seized from his apartment in Andheri during a raid conducted by NCB officials. Two alleged drug peddlers were also arrested by the NCB in Mumbai's Juhu area on Monday.
Armaan Kohli has been charged under several sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, which deal with possession and distribution of banned substances.
NCB officials quoted by news agency ANI earlier said, that the actor was found in an inebriated condition at the time of his arrest.
