According to a Bloomberg report, Apple has considered launching a rugged version of its Apple Watch smartwatch, that could be used in extreme environments. While the smartwatch is expected to share features with the regular Apple Watch devices, it may sport a rubberised exterior and new swim-tracking features. The report also says that the new device may be launched as a separate variant alongside the regular Watch Series, and may release in either 2021 or 2022.
