On #AskTheDoctor, Dr @ArvinderSoin, @DrAmbrishMithal, & Dr @_PraveenChandra explain why conditions like diabetes are not contraindicative for vaccination. They add that control during infection is very important as studies show that those who have well controlled diabetics during Covid are bound to recover well. The doctors also advise that patients should not stop their medication for existing conditions. Heart patients who are on blood thinners can also safely take the vaccine; however after taking a shot, people must not self-medicate and start taking blood thinners on their own.
