Apple’s iOS 15.0.2 update brings critical system security fix

Apple has released the iOS 15.0.2 and iPadOS 15.0.2 updates, which bring some fixes for iPhone and iPad users.

The update issues an important security fix for a zero-day vulnerability that allowed hackers to execute any code, and thus take complete control of a device.

The update also fixes a bug that was causing photos saved from Messages to disappear if the linked message is deleted.

It also addresses an issue with AirTags not appearing in the Find My tab, and fixes problems with CarPlay.

Apple Watch users can also update to watchOS 8.0.1, which issues a few important fixes for users of the Apple Watch 3.
