After the BJP, the Left too has accused the Trinamool Congress of unleashing violence on its cadre after winning the Bengal elections. In tweet, CPM general secretary Sitaram Yechury shared images of alleged post-victory violence by Trinamool workers against the Left cadre. BJP has alleged that six of its workers have lost their lives in the last two days since Trinamool Congress won the polls. Late on Monday, the Ministry of Home Affairs asked the West Bengal government for a report on the post-election violence targeting opposition political workers in the state. The BJP has called for a nationwide protest against the alleged Trinamool violence on May 5.
