New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and her Finnish counterpart Sanna Marin had a sharp reply for a reporter who asked them a sexist question during a press conference.
I wonder whether or not anyone ever asked (Former US President) Barack Obama and (Former New Zealand Prime Minister) John Key if they met because they were of similar age," Ardern said after the two leaders were asked by a reporter if they met because of their similarities.
"We really leverage the economic opportunities between our two countries. Little will be known about the depth of that relationship or the potential of it, but it's our job to further it regardless of our gender," she added.
Marin echoed the sentiment, saying that there are "a lot of things where we can do much more together," and that they are meeting as prime ministers that have "a lot of things in common."

The two made the comments at a joint news conference after meeting in Auckland on the first-ever visit by a Finnish prime minister to New Zealand and Australia.
Among the aims of the visit are improving diplomatic relations and trade ties.
