A video of a woman fighting off an assailant inside a gym in USA's Florida is being shared widely on social media. CCTV footage of the incident was first shared by the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office on 16 February 2023.
It showed 24-year-old Nashali Alma exercising in a gym in her apartment complex on 22 January when she is attacked by a man identified as Xavier Thomas-Jones. Nashali is seen fighting off the assailant even as he repeatedly molests her, and even tries to pin her on the ground.
Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said that the man was arrested within 24 hours of Mashali filing a complaint.
