USA: 17 Indians, 4 Pakistanis, 6 Afghans try to illegally cross American border, apprehended

In a concerning incident, 17 Indians were detained while allegedly trying to illegally enter the United States of America.

The Indians had been trying to climb over a border fence, as per authorities. They were part of a group of migrants 100 migrants, which also included 4 Pakistanis, and 6 Afghans.

At 2 am on 30 August 2022, the migrants were apprehended at a border post in California by San Diego Sector Border Patrol agents. After detention, they were taken to a nearby station for medical evaluation.

In January 2022, an Indian family had frozen to death while trying to illegally enter America. The 4 Indians - two adults, a baby, and a teenager - had been trying to cross over into USA from Canada.
