Several media portals are also circulating this picture with the claim that a black flag is fluttering above the shrine.
It is worth noting that the black flag is a symbol of mourning in Shia Islam and it is raised to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussein. Internet users are saying that this time it stands as a symbol of solidarity with the Palestinian people.
While some social media users said that the black flag has been fluttering above the shrine since October 1 and earlier, the flag atop the shrine was green.
