As North Korea finally began its Covid-19 vaccine drive, the country's propaganda machinery sprung into action and proclaimed that the jabs are an 'immortal potion of love' gifted by supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

The bizarre claim was loudly proclaimed using loudspeakers at vaccination centers. According to reports, the outlandish message played on loudspeakers says that it was the 'vaccination of love from the Highest Dignity'.

North Korea has recently witnessed a surge in Covid cases, as a result of which the country started its vaccination drive. The vaccine being administered has been sourced from China.

Reports suggest that currently the vaccine drives are only limited to soldiers working on construction projects.

So far, the state media outlet has only admitted to 69 deaths from Covid.
