With the Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent curfews and lockdowns, user have been glued to OTT platforms, and Netflix has made the most of it.
Netflix said it had added 1.5 million paid memberships during the quarter, slightly higher than its guidance forecast of 1 million.

Lupin | 54 million views in 4 weeks
Netflix said the second season of French thriller TV series 'Lupin' was its largest grosser, with 54-million-member households choosing the show within the first four weeks of its release.
'Lupin' follows the story of professional thief Assane Diop played by actor Omar Sy, the only son of an immigrant from Senegal. Assane's father is framed for the theft of an expensive diamond necklace by his employer, the wealthy and powerful Hubert Pellegrini, after which he hangs himself in his prison cell out of shame. Twenty-five years later, his son Assane sets out to seek revenge on the Pellegrini family, using his mastery of thievery.
Army of the Dead | 75 million views
Netflix said 'Army of the Dead' garnered 75-million-member households views in the first 28 days of its release.
Directed by Zack Snyder, 'Army of the Dead', follows a group of soldiers who plan a Las Vegas casino heist amid a zombie apocalypse. The film stars Dave Bautista, Huma Qureshi, Ella Purnell, Omari Hardwick among others.
Fatherhood | 74-million views
Netflix film 'Fatherhood' received 74 million views on its release.
'Fatherhood' is about a single dad Matthew Logelin, played by Kevin Hart, who struggles to raise his daughter after his wife dies after delivering the baby. The film is based on the novel 'Two Kisses for Maddy: A Memoir of Loss & Love' by Matthew Logelin and released on Father’s Day this year.
Sweet Tooth | 60 million views
'Sweet Tooth', an eight-part Netflix series garnered 60 million views according to the streaming giant.
'Sweet Tooth' is a live-action take on Jeff Lemire’s comic book by the same name. Produced by Susan Downey & Robert Downey Jr., 'Sweet Tooth' is a post-apocalyptic fairytale about a hybrid deer-boy and a wandering loner who embark on an extraordinary adventure.
Shadow and Bone | 55 million views
55 million viewers watched Netflix show 'Shadow and Bone' as it released.
The series follows a war-torn world where a cartographer named Alina Starkhov played by actor Jessie Mei Li stays. A sudden turn of events makes Alina realise that she has extraordinary powers that could be key to setting her homeland free from a dark entity called 'The Fold'.
