Watch | KMSS leader Akhil Gogoi presented before Special NIA Court

KMSS leader Akhil Gogoi was presented before Special NIA Court on Thursday. Earlier, a team of National Investigation Agency (NIA) launched a search operation at the residence of peasant leader and RTI activist Akhil Gogoi in Guwahati today. The team arrived at his residence in Nizarapar of Chandmari around 7 am. During the raid, the search team seized files containing documents relating to National Hydroelectric Power Corporation Ltd (NHPC), the same company involved in the construction of Subansiri hydroelectric power project that KMSS leader, Gogoi has been opposing.
