Safety of Pakistani women is under serious threat in the wake of rising incidents of assault.
Social media users are shaken by a recent horrific video of assault on a woman on a busy street in Pakistan.
In the video, which has been shared on social media, two women are seen travelling in an open rickshaw when a man jumps onto the footboard of the vehicle and kisses her on the cheek. While the woman and her companion are visibly upset and try to push the man away, no one is seen coming to their rescue.

Earlier, another video where a TikTok user was seen being "brutally attacked" by hordes of men in Lahore had gone viral.
These videos have triggered anger and uproar on social media, evoking widespread condemnation with many people calling for the government to take strict action against sexual harassment.
