It's raining money, or it must have been since the drain pipes were full of cash!

The residence of PWD joint engineer Shantha Gowda Biradar in Kalaburagi district was raided as part of a state-wide crackdown on Karnataka government officials accused of corruption.

During the raid, officials of the Anti-Corruption Bureau recovered ₹25 lakh in cash and gold.

After a tip off, officials got a plumber to extract the wads of currency notes from the drain pipes. Nearly ₹40 lakh were extracted from the pipes. Talk about a cash flow.
