Team India flew out to the United Kingdom on June 2 after completing an 8-day hard quarantine period in Mumbai. Virat Kohli's men are in for a marathon tour as after taking on New Zealand in the World Test Championship final from June 18, India will lock horns with hosts England in a 5-match Test series.
Before the departure, skipper Kohli said that though they will get lesser time to adjust to the English conditions than New Zealand, but they are not bothered about that. Kohli added that they are not playing in England for the first time and the hunger to do well will work.
The Indian contingent will reach Southampton on June 3, where they will spend time in managed isolation and will undergo regular tests.
