Trending: Snow-clad Himalayan peaks seen from Saharanpur for 2nd consecutive year

Due to Covid induced restrictions and rainy weather the peaks of snow-clad Himalayas were visible for the second year in a row from western Uttar Pradesh's Saharanpur town, situated hundreds of kilometers away. Dushyant Kumar, a government employee and an amateur photographer said he clicked pictures of the Himalayas seen from Saharanpur on May 20.

A Saharanpur based doctor, Vivek Bannerjee also clicked pictures of the magnificent peaks. The peaks were visible towards the north of Saharanpur after the clouds cleared up following two days of rain, Dr. Bannerjee said after his photos were widely shared.
