A passenger train from Karnataka's Mangaluru Junction to Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus derailed in South Goa on Friday due to a landslide caused by incessant rains.
The train had been diverted via Madgaon-Londa-Miraj due to an overflowing Vashishti river.
Railway officials in a statement said that no casualties were reported in the incident.
Passengers of the affected coach were shifted to other coaches and the train will be sent back to Kulem in South Goa.
Goa is witnessing worst floods in over 40 years.
