Vicky Kaushal has announced that his upcoming film 'Sardar Udham' will skip the theatrical release and directly premiere on an OTT platform.
'Sardar Udham' will release on Amazon Prime Video in October 2021. Some reports say, the makers are planning to release the film on October 16, during the Dusshera weekend.
Vicky Kaushal shared the news with fans on social media along with a poster of the film, saying, his heart is filled with love as he brings to fans the story of a revolutionary'.

Directed by Shoojit Sircar, in 'Sardar Udham', Vicky Kaushal plays revolutionary freedom fighter, Udham Singh, who went from India to London to assassinate British General Michael O'Dwyer, the man responsible for the horrific Jallianwala Bagh massacre of 1919.
