Uttar Pradesh Cabinet expansion: Jitin Prasada sworn in as minister in Yogi govt

Jitin Prasada, the former Congress leader who recently joined the BJP was sworn in as a minister in the Uttar Pradesh government.

Governor Anandiben Patel administered the oath of office to Prasada as Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expanded his cabinet on Sunday ahead of the Assembly elections next year.

BJP leaders Chhatrapal Singh, Paltu Ram, Sangeeta Bind, Dharamveer Prajapati, Sanjeev Kumar, Dinesh Khatik took oath as junior ministers.
