The campaign team for Democratic Presidential nominee Joe Biden is targeting Sikh-Americans ahead of the November 3 US polls. Aimed at reaching out to the Sikh-Americans, it plans to protect the community's youth in schools.

The initiative addresses xenophobia, racism, and discrimination against religious minorities in the US.  In a press release, Biden's campaign team stated that cases of bullying against the Sikh community has doubled under the Trump regime.

Kiran Kaur Gill, a prominent civil rights activist and a member of Sikh American National Leadership Council, hailed the new initiative saying, that under Biden, Sikh-Americans can feel safer in schools and on streets.
