US lifts export ban, agrees to send raw material 'urgently required' for Covishield

In a big breather for the nation and Serum Institute the United States government has finally agreed to lift the export ban and immediately provide raw material urgently required for manufacturing Covishield vaccine. 

The statement from Biden govt comes after a phone conversation between US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. 

The White House in it's release also stated that they are pursuing options to provide oxygen generation and related supplies on an urgent basis.

Adar Poonawalla had made repeated requests on public forums to the United States government to release raw materials needed to make Covid-19 vaccine.
