A woman in UP's Bareilly has alleged that three cops mistreated her son and nailed his hands and feet for not wearing a facemask. However, police on Wednesday refuted the allegations, calling them baseless and concocted.

A senior police officer in Bareilly stated that the man in question is still on the run and allegations of nails being drilled in his hands and legs are completely baseless.

He however admitted that the alleged victim is accused of misbehaving with police officials and violating Covid-19 norms.
