Micro-blogging platform Twitter has started rolling out the ‘Fleets’ feature on Android and iOS and should be available for everyone in the coming days.
Fleets appear at the top of the Twitter app, allowing users to post ephemeral content that disappears in 24 hours as well as view stories posted by others.
Twitter says Fleets are a way for users to think out loud, without being subject to Likes, Retweets or replies.
It's worth noting that Fleets are not private stories, and can be viewed by anyone visiting a user's profile.
