Twitter India head questioned in Congress 'toolkit' case: report

A week after Delhi Police raided Twitter India in Delhi and Gurugram, the platform's India head was questioned by the Special Cell in connection with the alleged Congress 'toolkit' case, NDTV has reported.

The report, quoting sources, said that Managing Director of Twitter in India Manish Maheshwari was questioned by the Delhi Police Special Cell in Bengaluru on May 31.

This came days after Delhi Police raids at Twitter offices on May 25. Cops went to Twitter office after it tagged BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra's tweet on an alleged Congress 'toolkit' as manipulated media.

Twitter has been slapped with another FIR in the Ghaziabad Muslim man assault video case by the UP Police.
