Tokyo Olympics 2020: Xiaomi India announces Mi 11 Ultra gift for Indian medal winners

Xiaomi India has announced that it will gift all Indian medal winners at the recently-concluded Tokyo Olympics with a Mi 11 Ultra flagship smartphone. Xiaomi India’s MD Manu Kumar Jain said in a tweet that this is a small gesture of thanks for India’s ‘super heroes’.

The Mi 11 Ultra sports the Snapdragon 888 SoC, a 50MP triple rear camera setup, and a 6.81” QHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display.  The Mi 11 Ultra is priced at ₹69,999 in India.

Indian athletes brought home seven medals at the Tokyo Olympics, the country’s best-ever haul, including a first-ever gold in athletics through Neeraj Chopra’s gold medal in Javelin Throw.

Mirabai Chanu, PV Sindhu, Lovlina Borgohain, Bajrang Punia, and Ravi Kumar Dahiya, along with the men’s hockey team, also bagged medals in their respective sports.
