Tokyo Olympics 2020: Watch! Subedar Neeraj Chopra's regiment celebrates his Olympic victory

Neeraj Chopra winning the Olympic gold is a moment to celebrate for all the Indians, but it is a tad bit special for the Indian Army. 

The ace javelin thrower is a Subedar with the Rajputana Rifles regiment of the Indian Army and the soldiers of his regiment broke into a dance to celebrate his historic feat. Chief of Army Staff General MM Naravne and all the ranks of the force also congratulated the 23-year-old athlete who won the gold mdeal with a throw of 87.58 meters. Chief of Defence staff Genral Bipin Rawat also hailed Chopra's phenomenal performance at the Olympics.

The Panipat-based athlete became India's first track and field Olympic medallist and also brought home India's first Olympic gold since 2008.
