Star Indian Table Tennis player Sharath Kamal gave it his all at the Tokyo Olympics but went down fighting against reigning Olympic champion Ma Long 4-1 in Round 3 match on Tuesday. With that victory, the Chinese took his winning streak against Sharath to 5 games.
After losing the first game, Sharath fought back to level the match in the second against the defending champion from China but then went on to lose 3 in a row to crash out of the Olympics. Earlier in Tokyo, 39-year-old Sharath entered Round 3 on back of his first win at the Olympics since Beijing 2008.
