Tokyo Olympics 2020: Ravi Dahiya clinches Silver, loses to Zavur Uguev in the final

India's Ravi Kumar Dahiya stepped onto the mat eyeing for Gold but the final didn't go down his way. Nevertheless, he made the country proud by clinching a Silver medal. 

Ravi went down fighting against 2-time world champion Zavur Uguev of Russian Olympic Committee 4-7 in the men's freestyle 57kg final. He is only the second Indian wrestler, after Sushil Kumar, to win an Olympic silver medal. 

Deepak Punia too had a chance to win a Bronze but he lost his way in the dying moments of his bout to Myles Amine of San Marino who went on to clinch the bronze in men's freestyle 86kg event.
