Tokyo Olympics 2020: Indian Women's Hockey Team suffers 2nd consecutive defeat vs Germany

The Indian women's hockey team suffered their 2nd consecutive defeat at the Tokyo Olympics against Germany on Monday.

Nike Lorenz scored the first goal for Germany in the first quarter which was followed by Anne Katarina's 2nd goal in the third quarter, as she secured the game for her side 2-0. The Rani Rampal led side missed several chances to score including a crucial penalty miss in the 3rd quarter.

India will next face Great Britain in their 3rd Pool A game on Wednesday.
