High jumpers from Qatar and Italy had a rare Olympic Moment when they decided to share a Gold medal spot. Mutaz Essa Barshim of Qatar and Gianmarco Tamberi of Italy have known each other for 10-years now and have supported each other through thick and thin but on Sunday the two went on to share an Olympic gold.

Both high jumpers cleared 7 inches, 9 & 1/4 inches and ended up with a tie. The rule book says that the players can have a jump-off for gold or share it.

While the officials were still explaining the rule, Barshim questioned, 'Can we have two golds?' as both agreed to share the spoils.
