USA Gymnastics team has announced that Simone Biles has withdrawn from 2 more Olympic events in Tokyo. The two events where Biles was expected to perform and win gold were the vault and uneven bars. The 24-year-old continues to be evaluated daily for her mental health and also to determine whether she'll compete in the finals for floor exercise and balance beam.

Biles earlier after pulling out of a few events said that she was putting her mental health first over medals.

USA Gymnastics confirmed that Simone was still struggling with a "Petrifying" mental block over competing at the Tokyo Olympics where she came seeking 5 Gold Medals to equal the all-time career record of nine. A few days ago, Biles posted on social media and said that the mental block was not happening when she was practising in the US but only started when she came to Tokyo.
