TMC MP Santanu Sen suspended from Rajya Sabha after snatching & tearing Pegasus statement

A day after TMC MP Santanu Sen snatched Pegasus statement from IT minister, Ashwini Vaishnaw and tore it, he has been suspended for the remaining period of the Monsoon Session of Parliament.

Sen targeted the Communications and Information Technology Minister as he was making a statement on the snooping issue.

Vaishnaw was forced to cut short his statement on Pegasus snooping controversy in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday amid protests by the opposition members

Both houses of the parliament were adjourned till Friday amid high drama as opposition MPs led protests against the newly implemented farms laws and the alleged snooping by the Centre using the Pegasus spyware in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
