The new Starbucks outlet at Guangzhou in China is the first-ever 'silent cafe' in the country, and they did so by hiring a hearing impaired staff. As part of their initiative to employ disabled people, half their staff is aurally challenged, and the cafe's specially designed ordering system allows customers to place orders without having to talk to anyone. With over 3800 outlets in mainland China, this might be the quietest cafe in the country.
