Elon Musk announced on Friday that Twitter will begin sharing ad revenue with selected content creators, exclusively for ads appearing on their reply threads. In order to be eligible for this revenue share, the creators must be subscribers of Twitter Blue Verified. No information has been released regarding the revenue share percentage.

Musk aims to reduce costs and introduce the Twitter Blue subscription service, which features the coveted verified badge. He also announced that the legacy Blue Verified program will be discontinued in the near future, as it is "deeply corrupted".
