Netflix has laid out plans to crack down on rampant account sharing for accounts in Canada, New Zealand, Portugal and Spain.

The plan has been laid down for setting up a primary location and paying a couple of dollars for an extra member.

Members on Netflix's standard or premium plan can now add an extra member sub account for up to two people for an approximate additional amount of USD 6 a month per person.

The video-streaming giant estimates that 100 million users around the world use a shared account.
