The Realme 9 Pro series is all set to launch in India on February 16, the company has confirmed. The series would comprise the Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro+ smartphones. In a QnA session on YouTube, Realme Vice President Madhav Sheth has also teased the pricing and specs of the phones.
The Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro+ smartphones have been confirmed to launch in India on February 16, at 1:30 PM IST. In a QnA session, Realme Vice Present Madhav Sheth said that the series would be priced above the ₹15,000 mark, as Realme aims to go premium. He also said that all smartphones in the Realme 9 Pro series would have 5G support. The regular Realme 9 series, meanwhile, will also be launching at a later date.

According to earlier reports, the Realme 9 Pro+ could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset, along with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. It may sport a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It may also come with RealmeUI 3.0, based on Android 12, out of the box.
For optics, the phone may offer a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary camera, which is rumoured to be a Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS. It may also sport an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP depth sensor. It could also come with a 16MP front camera.
In the battery department, the Realme 9 Pro+ is expected to offer a 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
