The iPhone 13 series, launched by Apple in 2021, brought the first smartphones from the company to offer 120Hz ProMotion high refresh rate displays. However, the ProMotion displays were limited to the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max, while the base iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini offer standard 60Hz displays.
However, a new report by analyst Jeff Pu for Haitong International Securities claims that the iPhone 14 lineup will offer a 120Hz ProMotion display as standard across the range. This means that the non-Pro iPhone 14 offerings will also offer a ProMotion display.
The report also claims that the iPhone 14 lineup will offer 6GB RAM as standard across the range, as opposed to the iPhone 13 lineup, which offered 6GB RAM on the Pro models, 4GB RAM on the non-Pro models.

Earlier reports have indicated that the iPhone 14 series will also get a camera upgrade, with the Pro models offering a 48MP main camera. The upcoming series of smartphones from Apple is also said to not feature another ‘mini’ model with a smaller display. Instead, we may get an iPhone 14 Max, with pricing and specs similar to the iPhone 14, but a 6.7-inch screen like the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
