A new Gmail scam has been discovered with emails having the subject line “Online Reward Program”, claiming that the email is from Google and the recipient has won a prize due to being the person to make the 18.25 billionth search on Google.

The email is not legitimate, and it asks the user to click on a link to claim the prize that takes the victim to a webpage where they are asked to enter personal details, and their personal information is then stolen.

It is important to know that Google is not offering such a reward program.
