In an exciting development, Google Pay is set to revolutionize UPI registration by allowing users to conveniently register using their Aadhaar number. This groundbreaking feature eliminates the need for a debit card, providing users with enhanced accessibility and convenience.
To take advantage of this feature, users must ensure their Aadhaar number is linked to their bank account and follow a simple sign-up process using their registered phone number with the bank and UIDAI.

Upon entering their Aadhaar number, users will receive OTPs from both their bank and UIDAI. These OTPs serve as an additional layer of security to authenticate the registration process. By entering these OTPs, users can proceed to set up their UPI PIN, unlocking the full potential of Google Pay.

It's worth noting that currently, this feature is supported by 22 banks, enabling seamless authentication using the Aadhaar number. With Google Pay's new UPI registration process, users can now experience a streamlined and hassle-free way to leverage the power of UPI. Say goodbye to debit cards and embrace a seamless digital payment experience today.
