Epic Games has filed a complaint against Google in India, alleging that it violated an antitrust order by not allowing third-party app stores on its Play Store app. Epic claims that its own app store was adversely affected by Google's non-compliance. Google has denied any wrongdoing but has made changes to its Android business model, such as allowing other app stores on Play Store and offering OEMs the choice to license individual Google apps. Additionally, Google has modified its Android installation process and auto-updating capabilities for sideloaded apps and app stores.
