Taapsee Pannu is taking no shortcuts as she preps for her upcoming film 'Rashmi Rocket'. Recently, she shared a photo of her extreme physical transformation for the role. In the photo, Taapsee has her back towards the camera.
The actor won a lot of praise for her intense fitness regime, and a publication shared the photo asking viewers to guess who it was. A social media user commented on the photo saying 'Mard ki body waali toh Taapsee hi ho sakti hai"
Taapsee minced no words. In her quintessential style, Taapsee said, the user's comment 'Mard Ki Body' was actually a compliment for her. Commenting on his post, she wrote, "All I will say is, just remember this line and wait for 23rd September." She further thanked the troll, saying she really worked hard for this compliment.
Directed by Akarsh Khurana, 'Rashmi Rocket' is being billed as a wholesome entertainer with the elements of a sports film, a courtroom drama and a mature romance.
The film follows the story an athlete, who finally gets the chance to realise her dream and compete professionally, only to realize that the race to the finish line is peppered with many hurdles.
Rashmi Rocket also stars Supriya Pathak, Abhishek Banerjee, Priyanshu Painyuli and Supriya Pilgaonkar. The film releases on ZEE5 on October 15.
