After experiencing a heavy defeat against Mumbai, the Gujarat Giants fell to yet another defeat in the WPL by the hands of the UP Warriorz who won the thrilling tie by 3 wickets at the DY Patil Stadium on Sunday.
Put to bat first, Gujarat Giants' Harleen Deol topscored with 46 runs which helped them post 169 for 6 against UP Warriorz.
Chasing which, UP didn't get off to a good start and needed 53 runs off the last three overs.
Kim Garth's fifer made it look like the match is all but over for the Giants. However, it was Grace Harris who stepped up and produced a phenomenal batting display as her unbeaten 59 took UP Warriorz to a thrilling win with one ball to spare.
