The Australian women's dominance continued as the Kangaroos took home their record-extending 6th T20 World Cup title.

Meg Lanning’s team beat hosts South Africa by 19 runs in the final on Sunday.

Opting to bat first, opener Beth Mooney's unbeaten 74 run-knock powered the Aussies to a respectable 156 in the first innings.

In reply, opener Laura Wolvaardt stood firm even as wickets kept falling at the other end.

Wolvaardt's 61, however, went in vain as the hosts could only finish with 137 in their 20 overs, giving the Aussies their 13th ICC World Cup title in limited-overs cricket.
