The Super 12 lineup is finally complete, with Zimbabwe going through to the next round after beating Scotland by 5 wickets in Group B.
Sri Lanka, Netherlands, Zimbabwe, and Ireland have booked their place in the Super 12 stage of the T20 World Cup 2022.
Having opted to bat, the Scotsmen didn't enjoy a great powerplay, losing 2 wickets inside the first 6 overs.
In fact, apart from opener George Munsey, no batter showed up on the day for Scotland. With a below-par performance in the death overs, they managed only 132 runs on the board.
Despite an early exit for Zimbabwe opener Wesley Madhevere, the duo of Craig Ervine and Sikandar Raza steered the team to victory with an excellent batting display. While Ervine made 58, Raza's 23-ball 40 ensured Zimbabwe were well ahead of the rate.
The African nation qualified for the Super 12 by finishing top of Grouo B.
Ireland and Sri Lanka go to Group 1 joining Afghanistan, Australia, England, and New Zealand while Zimbabwe and Netherlands join Team India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and South Africa in Group 2.
