Shoaib Akhtar's reactions become the talk of the town after any T20 World Cup 2022 game and his comments after India's loss vs South Africa has also sparked a debate.

The former Pakistan speedster said that India ne marwa diya humein (India have nearly killed our chances) by losing to South Africa. He though added that it wasn't India’s fault as Pakistan played very badly.

"We left this thing on others but I was still wishing and hoping that India would come strong and hard. This shows that when you are against a quality bowling attack, the condition of the subcontinent teams come out in the open," Akhtar added.

Pakistan was backing India to win against the Proteas to lift their hopes of making it to the semifinals of the tournament. Though the Men in Green are still alive but booking a knockouts berth has now become a lot difficult following India's loss vs South Africa.
