Bangladesh often take their losses with a pinch of salt and their defeat vs India in T20 World Cup 2022 didn't go down well the Bangla Tigers.

After India won by 5 runs on Wednesday, Bangladesh's wicketkeeper Nurul Hasan accused Virat Kohli of 'fake fielding'. According to a report in Cricbuzz, Nurul suggested after the game that it could have been a five-run penalty for them.

"The field was wet and it had an impact. Everyone saw that and eventually, I felt that there was a fake throw and it could have been a five-run penalty, which could have gone our way, but unfortunately, even that didn't come," said Hasan.

Law 41.5, which pertains to unfair play, prohibits the "deliberate distraction, deception or obstruction of [the] batter". If the umpire deems an incident a breach of the law, then he can call for a dead ball and award the batting team five runs.
