Former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir who is known to call a spade a shovel posted a cryptic message on his social media account after India's heartbreaking loss at the T20 World Cup 2022.

After India were ousted following a 10-wicket drubbing against the mighty English team, Gambhir took to Twitter and wrote, 'You only expect from those who can deliver! Chin up boys'

However, the 41-year-old who otherwise rarely praises ex-Indian cricketer MS Dhoni, lauded him for his extraordinary achievement as the Indian skipper. While speaking on Star Sports, Gambhir said, 'Someone will probably come and score double 100s than Rohit Sharma, more 100s than Virat Kohli, but I don't think so any Indian captain would be able to achieve 3 ICC Trophies'

Dhoni-led-Team India won the inaugural T20 World Cup in 2007, ODI World Cup in 2011 and the Champions Trophy in 2013 and since then the team has struggled to find its feet on the world stage.
