Seven-time Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic faced a tough challenge from Australia's Jordan Thompson in his second-round clash at Wimbledon on Wednesday. However, Djokovic managed to secure a 6-3, 7-6(7/4), 7-5 victory, marking his 350th win in Grand Slam matches.
With the win, Djokovic became only the third player in history to reach such a milestone, joining Roger Federer and Serena Williams, who have 369 & 365 wins respectively.
As the second seed, Djokovic's quest for a fifth consecutive Wimbledon title continues after he overcame a difficult second-set tie-break to secure the hard-fought victory against the world number 70.
Looking ahead, Djokovic is set to face either Stanislas Wawrinka or 29th seed Tomas Etcheverry in the third round of the tournament.
