Thousands of fans flocked the streets of Belgrade to celebrate Novak Djokovic winning the US Open 2023 as he celebrated with Serbia basketball team on Tuesday night.
The Serbian crowd erupted in cheers during the famous Belgrade balcony celebrations, which left Djoko emotional.
Serbia finished as runners-up of the Basketball World Cup after losing against Germany by 83-77 in the final on Sunday.
Djokovic, who had won his 24th Slam singles title Sunday by beating Daniil Medvedev 6-3, 7-6 (5), 6-3 in the U.S. Open final, said he fulfilled a dream to share the celebration with the team.
